From Munich to Rothenburg ob der tauber

On Wednesday we were picked up by a driver from Audi in his A8 and he proceeded to drive us up to the Audi factory going about 125mph on the autobahn.  We passed the President of Bavaria (also in an Audi A8) on the way.  The factory tour was amazing.  The initial assembly of the cars is done nearly entirely by robots each costing about $100,000.  After leaving, we drove up to Rothenburg ob der Tauber and I was able to get up to 115mph on the autobahn, pretty fun!  Rothenburg is such a cute old city.  We are having a wonderful time.  We drive down to Fussen tomorrow and Saturday we have a tour scheduled for the Neuswanstein castle.  The best part of our trip is the time we have to spend with the Lord and with each other.  God is awesome!

  1. I remember Rothenburg ob der Tauber as one of the highlights of a trip to Regensburg. Fascinating picture of life in a different era.
